How to Import a Section Block into a Form
Learn how to import a section block into a form in Smarter Drafter Pro.
Section Blocks are reusable sections (or groups of sections) that can be inserted into one or many forms. They help maintain consistency and save time by building common components—like contact details or declarations—once, and using them wherever needed.

Instructions
- Open your form in the Form Builder.
- Move your cursor to the point in the form where you want to insert the Section Block.
- Click Import Section Block (the buttons will appear on hover - if they don't, make sure your form is in Draft mode).

- In the pop-up window, browse or search to find the Section Block(s) you want.
- Click to select, then click Select.

NOTE: The selected Section Block will appear at the insertion point. You can move it using drag and drop like any other section.
TIP: If you need to make updates, navigate to and edit the original Section Block so changes flow through to all forms using it.
Common Issues & Solutions
- Issue: I can’t find the Section Block I created.
- Solution: Make sure the block is saved and you have the correct folder access. Use the search bar to locate it by name.
- Issue: I need to customise the Section Block after importing.
- Solution: Section Blocks are intended to be centrally managed. If you need a one-off version, consider cloning a section from another form instead.
