How to Create a Child Form from a Parent Form

Learn how to create a child form from a parent form in Smarter Drafter Pro.

Creating a child form from an existing parent form allows you to leverage the structure and content of the parent form while customising it for specific needs. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a child form and link it to its parent form.

Instructions

1. Open the Parent Form

  • Navigate to your Forms section in the platform.
  • Select the parent form you wish to use as the base for the child form.

2. Access Form Settings

  • Click on Build to open the relevant parent form.
  • Once inside the form builder, click on Settings.

3. Create the Child Form

  • In the Settings tab, find the Related Forms section.
  • Click on Create Child.

4. Name and Save the Child Form

  • A pop-up will appear. Enter a name for your child form.
