With this release, you can now pull a User’s profile signature directly into documents, with a new Signature User Mapping option for File Upload fields. Signatures are secure - controlled by admin permissions, user opt-outs, and never downloadable from submissions. Plus, signatures look cleaner with optimised placeholder placement.

Other updates: Account details and subscription combined into one page, along with key bug fixes to preview permissions, hidden fields in imported blocks, and email validation in the Submission API.

🌟 What’s new:

• Profile Signatures

  You can now use the signature saved in a Smarter Drafter user’s profile directly in your documents. Builders can User Map a File Upload, and a person filling the form can choose the relevant user in Smarter Drafter and have their profile signature pulled in automatically.

  • Security you can trust - Profile Signatures are protected by strict access controls. Admins control who can use them, individual users can opt out, and signatures are never downloadable from submissions. This ensures signatures are only used where authorised and are securely merged into documents without exposure.
  • Signature User Mapping - A new mapping option lets you link profile signatures directly to File Upload fields using the Signature setting.
  • Optimised signature placement - Signatures now merge seamlessly into documents with a refined placeholder image for a better fit.
