Create Repeating Sections in Forms Help Guide

Repeating Sections allow form fillers to enter multiple instances of the same type of information, such as children, invoices, or properties, with minimum and maximum limits set in the section settings. Builders can add fields, apply logic, create conditional rules, and design calculations either for each repeat individually or for the group collectively, such as counting the number of repeats or returning “child” vs “children.” When used in a form, fillers can add as many repeat entries as needed, and the Word template is guided by rules and calculations to handle the repeating data correctly.

Insert Repeating Content in Templates Help Guide

Repeating Data in Word templates allows text and formatting to automatically replicate for each repeat instance entered in a form, such as parties in a court form, bulleted or numbered lists, or inline lists. Builders prepare by ensuring the form has repeatable sections and conditional rules, then use the Word Add-In to insert fields, apply red conditional controls, and format outputs with list, inline, or sorting tools. Entire templates can also be set to repeat per instance, such as generating separate letters for each guarantor, with bookmarks used to split documents correctly.
