Add Automated eSignatures to Templates Help Guide
Automated e-Signatures allow templates to be pre-configured with signature fields so generated documents are immediately ready for digital signing, while still usable in traditional ways if preferred. Forms must include contact or user mapping for potential signees, after which signature components such as signature, name, initials, date, capacity, or checkboxes can be inserted into templates via the Word Add-In. These fields appear as light green content controls, ensuring documents are properly prepared for e-signature workflows without requiring manual mark-up later.
