How to Use the 'Hide All' Slide Switch in a Child Form

Learn how to use the 'hide all' slide switch in a child form in Smarter Drafter Pro.

The Hide All slide switch in a child form allows you to hide entire sections with a single click. This feature is particularly useful when you want to exclude certain sections from being displayed in the child form, making it more relevant to specific needs or use cases.

Instructions

1. Open the Child Form

  • Navigate to your Forms section and select the child form you want to edit.

2. Access the Form Builder

  • Click on Build to open the child form in the form builder where you can make adjustments.

3. Locate the 'Hide All' Slide Switch

  • In the form builder, find the section banner of the section you wish to hide. You will see the Hide All slide switch near the top of the section.

4. Toggle the 'Hide All' Slide Switch

  • To hide the entire section, click on the Hide All slide switch to toggle it On. This will hide the section from view in the child form.



5. Save Your Changes

  • After adjusting the Hide All slide switch, click Save to apply the changes to the child form.


Common Issues & Solutions

  • Issue: My changes are not reflected in the child form after editing.
  • Solution: Remember that if you change any specific question or field in the child form, it will disconnect that field from future updates in the parent form. Review your edits to ensure that only the fields you intend to modify are changed.
  • Issue: The changes I made in the child form are not visible.
  • Solution: Check if you have accidentally hidden sections or fields in the child form. Also, confirm that the Hide All toggle is set correctly if you're hiding sections.
