How to Delete and Restore a Form
Learn how to delete and restore a form in Smarter Drafter Pro.
Deleting a form removes it from your active form list. However, it will first be moved to the Recycle Bin, where it can be restored within 90 days. This guide shows you how to delete and restore form and manage its Recycle Bin status.
Instructions
1. Delete a form via Build > Forms
- Once in Build > Forms, find the form you want to delete.
- Click the 3-dot more options icon next to the form and select Delete Form from the list.
- Confirm the action via the popup dialog.
- The form will be moved to the Recycle Bin.
The form will remain in the Recycle Bin for 90 days before being permanently deleted. If needed, you can restore it within this time.
2. Restore a Form via the Recycle Bin
- Go to Build > Forms and click on the Recycle Bin folder (you may have to scroll down - it's the last folder in the list).
- Find the form you want to restore.
- Click the 3-dot more options icon next to the form name and select Restore Form.
- The form will be moved back to its original folder.

Common Issues & Solutions
- Issue: The form isn’t moving to the Recycle Bin.
- Solution: Check if the form is locked. Ensure the form is not currently in use.
- Issue: The form is no longer in the Recycle Bin.
- Solution: If the form has been in the Recycle Bin for more than 90 days, it has been permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
