Cloning fields allows you to copy existing fields within a section or move them to a different section. This guide will show you how to clone a field either into the same section or into another section of the form.
How to Clone a Field into the Same Section
- Open the form containing the field you want to clone.
- Click the waffle menu next to the field and select Copy here.
- The cloned field will appear below the original field within the same section.
- You can now modify it as needed.
How to Clone a Field into a Different Section
- Open the form containing the field you want to clone.
- Click the waffle menu next to the field and select Copy to another form.
- Use the down-arrow to locate the destination section where you want to clone the field.
- Select the section and click Copy.
- The field will appear at the end of the destination section.
Common Issues & Solutions
- Issue: The cloned field is not appearing in the correct location.
- Solution: Ensure you selected the correct section and clicked Copy for the appropriate destination.
